The 100 season 3: Actor teases 'ferocious love triangle' between Clarke, Lexa and Bellamy
Clarke and Lexa's relationship was strained beyond repair when Lexa betrayed the Sky people by making a deal with Mount Weather to save the grounders in finale episode of The 100 season 2.
But actor Alycia Debnam-Carey who plays Lexa has teased that Clarke and Lexa's reunion "will happen in season 3". The actress also talks of a "ferocious" love triangle between Clarke, Lexa and Bellamy.
Alycia Debnam-Carey told Entertainment Weekly, "Lexa will make it happen one way or the other. It might not be an easy reconciliation, but it'll happen. If Lexa wants something, it'll happen."
However, Lexa will make a grand comeback and the actor has teased that she will open a wound again. "She's opening up a wound again," Carey said, noting that Lexa will have a great entrance in season 3.
"What happened last time when she was emotionally available, her lover was killed. It's a very dangerous position to be in, but at the end of the day, she's only human and she'll have that human emotion," she added.
Meanwhile, Debnam-Carey also teased a "ferocious love triangle" between Clarke, Lexa and Bellamy.
She said, "Anyone would be great to work with, they're all so brilliant. I think it would be interesting if Bellamy [played by Bob Morley] had more to do with Lexa.
"That would be an interesting dynamic because obviously, you know, he's got some feels for Clarke, we can all see that. And obviously Lexa does. So [to see them fight over Clarke], I think that would be kinda cool to see, why not? I'm sure fans would love that one, the love triangle. Or maybe they'd hate it. It would be very ferocious!" Debnam-Carey added.
Clarke and Lexa officially met in season 2, when Clarke went to the commander of Grounder to make her an offer, and unitedly fought the Mount Weather. They both managed to put aside their differences and create peace between their people, and they even shared a kiss.
The 100 returns with season 3 in January 2016 on The CW.
