2012 Golden Globe Awards: The Best-Dressed Couple on the Red Carpet [SLIDESHOW]

Cameras just went on clicking as those special star couples descended on the Golden Globe red carpet on January 15. They were not only looking charming and hot, but turned up in their best outfits too on the occasion.

Here are some of the best-dressed men and women who appeared together and made the event special.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were the best-dressed couple on the Golden Globe red carpet. Jolie looked ravishing in a satin Atelier Versace gown with a twist of red fold around her chest. Brad looked handsome as usual in a black tux. Both Jolie and Brad were nominated but were not lucky enough to win any awards. Jolie, who made her directorial debut with "In the Land of Blood and Honey", was nominated for the best Foreign Language Film category. Brad was nominated for Best Actor (in Drama category) for his performance in "Moneyball". The film was nominated for the Best Motion Picture (Drama). Pitt is also one of the producers of the film.

George Clooney and Stacy Keibler: "Best Actor" George Clooney and girlfriend Stacy Keibler were another hot couple at the event. While Clooney settled for a dark grey tuxedo, Keibler wore a red gown, teamed with diamond earrings and bracelet.

Helen Mirren and Taylor Hackford: Helen Mirren looked elegant in a dark blue Badgley Mischa gown and her husband Taylor Hackford, who was wearing a black tuxedo and a bow tie, looked cheerful.

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied: New mum 30-year-old Natalie Portman looked beautiful in strapless dark pink gown with her partner Benjamin Millepied. Millepied settled for a conventional black tuxedo and black bow tie.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren: Actress Jessica Alba looked charming in a lavender Gucci gown with intricate designs all-over. Husband Cash Warren looked handsome in a black suit.
