Amber Heard spotted with ex-girlfriend Tasya van Ree amid divorce battle with Johnny Depp

Amber Heard was spotted enjoying lunch with her former partner Tasya van Ree as her divorce battle with estranged husband Johnny Depp continues. Apparently, the former couple were on a lunch date in a Los Angeles restaurant.

According to The Daily Mail, the 30-year-old actress and her former girlfriend were spotted arriving within just five minutes of each other at Republique on La Brea Ave on Tuesday (12 July). The ex-couple chatted for about an hour before leaving in separate vehicles, the report said.

The actress was dressedin blue denims and teamed up with a black and white sleeveless T-shirt under a long pinstripe jacket, while the 40-year-photographer was wearing an all black outfit and a scarf wrapped around her neck.

According to The Sun, The Rum Diary actress had previously changed her name to Amber van Ree after she entered into a legally binding "domestic partnership" with Tasya in March 2008.

The pair dated for four years and remained close even after Heard's marriage to the Pirates Of The Caribbean star in 2015.

When Heard filed for divorce, she informed the court in a written declaration that she had "endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse" during her 15-month marriage to Depp.

"During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me. I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him," she alleged.

"'I live in fear that Johnny will return to (our house) unannounced to terrorise me, physically and emotionally," she wrote in the statement.
