Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 5.30pm GMT. Live coverage is available on BBC One and BBC One HD. Radio commentary of the game is available on BBC Radio 5Live.

Overview

Arsenal welcome Hull City in the third round of the FA Cup to the Emirates Stadium in a clash that is a repeat of last season's final, which the Gunners came from 2-0 down to win the cup 3-2 in extra-time.

The Tigers will be keen to avenge that defeat and dump the holders out of the competition, but Arsene Wenger is an experienced campaigner when it comes to the FA Cup, having won it five times during his time at the club.

However, the north London club have had a difficult start to the season, and are struggling with injuries to numerous key players. Wenger will not be able to rotate much, as it is an important fixture for the club and will stick with most of the players, who played against Southampton on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Hull will come into the game knowing they can cause an upset as the last two times the clubs have faced each other, Steve Bruce's men were close to pulling off a win. Apart from the FA Cup loss, the Tigers got a well deserved point when they visited the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League earlier in the season. They could have had a win, if not for Danny Welbeck's last minute equaliser.

What managers say

Arsene Wenger: "Of course it's important. We want another cup run and we want, if possible, to keep the trophy. We've won it five times in my period in charge so that means we know the importance that it has."

Steve Bruce: "The final was a great day for everyone and we were close to winning the thing. We weren't quite good enough on the day but I think everyone will remember what a spectacle it was. This couldn't be a more difficult tie. Going to the Emirates is never easy. Let's hope we can go and put a show on. I have seen good signs over the past few weeks. This will be the biggest test of all, up against Arsenal. We can take heart from the league game this season [that ended in a 2-2 draw]. We were close to winning and this is the FA Cup. There are always shocks."
