Celebrated director, producer, and writer Steven Spielberg, celebrates his 65th birthday on Sunday. The influential American film great -- whose directorial successes include "Jaws" (1975), "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial" (1982), "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" (1984), "Jurassic Park" (1993), and "Saving Private Ryan" (1998), among others -- recently directed "The Adventures of Tintin" (2011).
Born in Cincinnati, Spielberg made his feature-film directorial debut with "The Sugarland Express" (1974), and is believed to have been influenced by legends such as Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Frank Capra, and Ingmar Bergman.
