Cannes Film Festival 2013: Jessica Chastain, Alessandra Ambrosio, Irina Shayk, Zhang Ziyi on the Red Carpet [PHOTOS]

Ladies poured in more glamorous looks on the eighth day of the 66th annual Cannes Film Festival.

Oscar nominated actress Jessica Chastain dazzled in a purple embellished Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci and completed the attire with no-jewelry look and a high ponytail.

Victoria's Secret models Alessandra Ambrosio and Irina Shayk opted for Roberto Cavalli gowns for the event. The 32-year-old Brazilian model looked divine in a silver, fully sequined long-sleeve dress which featured a back open, styled with de Grisogono jewels. Cristiano Ronaldo's Russian girlfriend wore a black gown with a plunging neckline, cut out panels and a sheer skirt.

Czech model Petra Nemcova opted for a peach colored gown from Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture collection and finished the look with Chopard jewels and a lilac Elie Saab clutch. English-French actress Kristin Scott Thomas stunned in a electric blue Armani long-sleeve gown with a plunging neckline and finished the look with emerald Chopard earrings.

American actress and model Milla Jovovich hit the red carpet in a sexy midnight blue gown from Armani while Bollywood star Puja Gupta opted for a dusky pink gown from Indian designers Gauri and Nainika.

Indian actress Ameesha Patel looked elegant in a traditional outfit, a Lehenga choli (blouse and long flowing skirt) from Indian designer Manish Malhotra.

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi turned heads in strapless organza Chanel gown, fully embroidered with gold-and-black sequins with a chiffon train. The 34-year-old, who is one of the jury members of this event, completed the look with Chanel Joallierie jewels, a Ferragamo 'Faberge' egg clutch and Jimmy Choo black peep-toes.
