X Factor's Sharon Osbourne to Quit Showbiz
TV veteran Sharon Osbourne is reportedly planning to retire from showbiz to spend more time with her family.
According to the Sunday People, the X Factor judge will bow out of the spotlight when the current series of the ITV talent show ends to focus on her son Jack's 16-month-old daughter Pearl.
"She is ready to retire, give up the showbiz world and lead a quiet life," a source told the newspaper.
"She is relishing the idea that she will be able to spend all the time in the world with her little granddaughter Pearl.
Insiders claim that Osbourne is keen to "put her feet up" after working on shows including America's Got Talent and The Talk in recent years.
The opinionated star, who has been married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne for 31 years, allegedly also wants to support Jack, who has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and wife Lisa Stelly after she suffered a miscarriage earlier this month.
"Sharon was devastated about the loss of Jack and Lisa's baby," the source added.
"She and Ozzy have had a tough year and realise how working in different countries has put a strain on their marriage."
Earlier in September, Osbourne confessed to having a secret fling with Jay Leno.
She admitted to getting close to the US chat show host in the late 70s after encouragement from a friend.
"One thing led to another and he actually came round to my house and met me. And then we had a little fling," she said.
