Kate Middleton is Perfect Modern Woman, says Designer Alice Temperley
Fashion designer Alice Temperley may have been wrongly tipped as the designer of Kate Middleton's wedding dress, but she is all praise about the Duchess of Cambridge's style statement.
Kate Middleton is the perfect modern-day woman, according to the 38-year-old designer.
"The Duchess is an inspiration," Alice told The Telegraph in an interview.
"She's very graceful, gracious and she's a brilliant ambassador for British fashion. She mixes up designer and high street; the perfect modern-day woman," she said.

Though Alice remained tight-lipped about Kate's wedding dress, which was designed by one of Catherine's favourite designers, Alexander McQueen, rumours have it that she might be the designer of Kate's younger sister Pippa Middleton's wedding gown.
Alice, who has a clientele of celebrities, described Middleton sisters as "lovely girls."
Alice has designed dresses for both Kate and Pippa. Pippa's backless emerald gown, which she wore to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding reception party, was created by Alice.

Kate Middleton has upped her glam quotient in Alice Temperley dresses at several royal engagements.
The Duchess of Cambridge's black and cream laced gown, which she wore to the UK premiere of War Horse in London last January, was an Alice creation.
Kate wore another Alice Temperley black and white lace dress during a royal reception at Buckingham Palace for Team GB Medallists at the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in October last year.
Then during her first trip to South Asia along with Prince William in September 2012, Kate Middleton opted for a frock dress by Temperley for visiting Kuala Lumpur.
Most recently, the Duchess attended SportsAid ball gala dinner in London in a Temperley black lace dress.
