Cannes 2014: Louis Vuitton Leather Gown and Chanel's Sequined Dress Rule Red Carpet
Actresses donned gowns of strikingly contrasting white, black and bold hues as they walked the red carpet on the second day of Cannes Film Festival 2014.
The film festival, currently in its 67th edition, opened to a glamorous start on 14 May and will run until 25 May.
Celebrities from around the world attended the screening of the film Mr. Turner, in competition, on the second day of the festival.
American actress Blake Lively literally looked lively dazzling around in a white sequined dress from Chanel couture spring 2014 collection. The dress clinched at her waist silhouetted out the slim figure of the 26-year-old actress.
The other celebrities who wore white were French fashion designer and former model Ines de la Fressange and French actress Aissa Maiga. Maiga wore a plain white gown with crossed back.
British-American actress Julianne Moore opted for a Louis Vuitton creation, a two-piece gown, to grace the event. Moore stood out in her out-of-the-box dress that featured burgundy leather top and a black and grey maxi-skirt
US actress Zoe Saldana was a vision in velvet as she walked the red carpet in a floor-length peacock green and black velvet-chiffon gown.
