Did rapper Young Thug propose to girlfriend Jerrika Karlae on Instagram?

First it was Day 26's Que and then music producer Deadmau5 and now Young Thug has used social media to pop the question. The Young Money rapper, who is Lil Wayne's protégé, appeared to propose to his on-off girlfriend Jerrika Karlae on Instagram.

Just days after releasing his highly-anticipated mixtape Barter 6, the hip hop star posted an image of two diamond rings, captioned with a message directed at his longtime partner: "Will U? ? ?"

He followed up the image by sharing a black-and-white picture of the pair locked in a passionate smooch, showing off their new matching rings.

Although neither the star, born Jeffrey Williams, nor Karlae have confirmed anything officially, the caption "4LIFE!!!" suggest that she accepted the 22-year-old's proposal.

Hours later she posted the same photo with a caption expressing her excitement over her relationship with the Lifestyle hitmaker with the message: "Please make it to where we could like pics more than once ❤"

Earlier in April, fellow Young Money artist Nicki Minaj sent tongues wagging when she hinted that she was engaged to Meek Mill with a snap of a heart-shaped rock on her wedding finger.

But her mother Carol Maraj has since rubbished the rumours, telling Bossip.com: "I talk to my daughter every day, and she said she was not engaged."
