Glee star Mark Salling arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography
Glee actor Mark Salling has been arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography. The Los Angeles Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force unit served a search warrant on 29 December at the home of the 33-year-old in Sunland, California.
Police searched his computer and they are alleged to have found hundreds of indecent images of children. TMZ reported that an ex-girlfriend tipped off the police, who investigated the matter before the raid to ensure it was not a false accusation following a bitter break-up.
LAPD officer Liliana Preciado confirmed to Daily Mail Online that Salling has been arrested on child porn claims and is now being held in Los Angeles' Downtown jail. The allegations were first reported by Crime Watch Daily.
Salling, who recently returned from a holiday in Costa Rica, played Noah "Puck" Puckerman in the hit Fox series Glee for six seasons.
Salling's rep has made no comment.
