Goal-line technology to be used in this season's Champions League and Europa League finals
Uefa confirm plans for the technology has been brought forward.
Uefa have announced plans for goal-line technology have been brought forward and will be in place for this season's Champions League and Europa League finals.
European football's governing body has planned for the technology in be brought in for next season's competitions but will now be in place in time for May's finals in Milan and Basel. It will also feature at this summer's European Championships in France.
The Premier League adopted goal-line technology in the 2013-14 season and was used in the 2014 World Cup and last summer's Women's World Cup in Canada.
The Champions League final takes place in Milan on 28 May, with the Europa League final on 18 May.
