Hajj 2014: Stars Who Have Made the Religious Pilgrimage to Mecca
Hundreds of thousands of Muslims have descended on the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia as part of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
For five days, pilgrims of every ethnic group, age and social status from all over the world will pray as one community and take stoke of their blessings as they complete the fifth and final pillar of the Islamic faith.
It is a religious duty all Muslims - who are physically and financially able - must undertake at least once in their lifetime.
For wealthy celebrities, making the once-in-a lifetime trip to promote the bonds of Islamic brotherhood and sisterhood is that much easier.
Former boxing champion Mike Tyson travelled to Mecca in 2012 shortly after converting to Islam.
"I just left the Holy City of Mecca where I was blessed to have been able to make Umrah...Inshallah {God willing], Allah will continue to bless me to stay on the straight path." He tweeted at the time.
