Director Farah Khan's films always have a special end-credits song which features the entire cast and crew of the film coming together. SRK's wife Gauri Khan, who is credited among the film's producers, also shot for the song.
"Call it a last minute decision, but SRK asked Gauri to bring AbRam too on the sets and hence, the team shot a special sequence with the little boy," states a Bollywood Life report.
Previously, SRK's older son Aryan Khan played a younger version of his dad in the 2001 hit movie – Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.
Happy New Year was released worldwide on 24 October, 2014. Apart from SRK, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivan Shah.
