K-pop boy band BTS dishes out details about their upcoming world tour
"We will visit more cities, and I think we will definitely be like, adding more stages," RM, one the group members of the band, said.
BTS is set to perform at the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday, 19 November, after which the Korean-pop boy band plans to go on the road to put on shows for their "army" of fans.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, RM, one of the members of the South Korean boy band – referred to as "Bangtan Sonyeondan" in Korean or "Bulletproof Boy Scouts" in English, said they are "ready" to perform at the 2017 AMAs.
"We're going to do it like we always have been," he said.
The K-pop group also opened up about their upcoming world tour, with RM saying, "We will visit more cities, and I think we will definitely be like, adding more stages."
He added, "I don't know the particular time of when we will be coming back [in the US], but it will definitely be doper and bigger. It's gonna really happen."
The members of the band include RM, J-Hope Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, V and Suga.
When asked if the band plans to tour Europe and Brazil as well, J-Hope said, "Yeah, of course."
RM added, "We just finished this tour named Wings, and I think it is going to be like, a new series for the tour, so, of course, including United States, it'll happen, I think. I hope it will happen everywhere, every continent. We want it too."
While fans have eagerly been waiting for the Bangtan boys to release their music in English, it seems like an English album does not feature in their list of top priorities at the moment. However, fans will soon get to listen to a remixed version of one of their tracks, which has been produced in collaboration with Steve Aoki and Desiigner.
"We're releasing our new song, 'MIC Drop' remix, with Steve Aoki and Desiigner next week. It's going to be like, an English version of something, so I think we will try some versions like that later," RM said.
RM and V also revealed that they are interested in working with some of the artists they admire, with V looking to collaborate with Daniel Caesar, while RM wants to team up with the likes of Sabrina Claudio, Drake and Migos.
