Kay Burley Has 'Car Crash' Facelift: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Wrong

Sky News presenter Kay Burley recently opened up about her 'deeply traumatic' facelift and admitted that the procedure left her unable to look at herself in the mirror.

The 50-year-old divorced mother of one treated herself to the lower face and neck lift surgery as a present to herself on the milestone birthday but admitted that the 'car crash' cosmetic surgery left her bruised and scarred.

Burley went under the knife for the second time following her eye surgery a decade ago after she turned 40 but this time had just three weeks to recover from the agonising procedure before she was back in the studio.

Talking to the Times Newspaper, she said: "It's a deeply traumatic procedure."

"It's not painful at all, but when you look at yourself in the mirror, you think, 'I'm never going to be me again'."

She may not the first celebrity to have a bad cosmetic surgery experience but luckily for Burley she was in capable hands. Other stars including Leslie Ash and Britain's Got Talent have not been so lucky. Their looks were famously destroyed after they tried unsuccessfully to give Mother Nature a helping hand.
