Levante vs Barcelona, La Liga 2015/16: Where to watch live, preview, betting odds and possible XI
Barcelona will look to continue their impressive run of form when they travel to the Ciutat de Valencia to face bottom club Levante on 7 February.
Where to watch live
Kick-off is set for 11am GMT. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 5 HD.
Overview
Levante are rooted to the bottom of the La Liga table and lost 3-1 to Sevilla on 31 January – their fourth successive away defeat in the league. The Valencian club have lost their last five head-to-head meetings with Barcelona, including a 4-1 defeat in the reverse fixture at the Nou Camp in September.
Defender Juanfran will miss the visit of Barcelona with a hamstring problem, while Pedro Lopez, Victor Casadesus, Jose Mari and Ruben Garcia are all injury doubts. Joan Verdu and Lucas Orban could make their debuts for the club after arriving from Fiorentina and Valencia, respectively.
Barcelona are on a nine-match winning run in all competitions and come into this fixture on the back of a 7-0 demolition of Levante's city rivals Valencia in the Copa del Rey. The Catalan giants are level on points with Atletico Madrid at the summit of the league table, but have two games in hand.
Defenders Adriano, Douglas and Thomas Vermaelen have all been left out of Luis Enrique's squad travelling to the Ciutat de Valencia and will not feature against Levante.
What managers say
Rubi: "Sunday will be a very special day in our lives. Barcelona is a good team, but our enthusiasm will be high. We have to raise our game and focus on the details."
Luis Enrique: "It's a good challenge to remain at the top of the table. The teams from the bottom half of the table raise their game as you move into the final third of the season."
