The F1 circus has travelled 663 miles south of Austin, Texas and landed in Mexico for the third-last Grand Prix of the season as the Drivers' Championship heats up between the two Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.

The German leads his teammate by 26 points going into the final three races and as it stands Rosberg can win his first F1 title without winning another race. He can finish second in the next two races and third in the final Grand Prix and be crowned champion.

Red Bull and Ferrari's battle for second place in the Constructors' Championship, which the Silver Arrows team has already wrapped up, looks like it will be won by the former after their impressive performances in recent races.

Daniel Ricciardo has also locked up third place in the Drivers standings and barring a disastrous last three races, should comfortably hold on to his place. Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen and Max Verstappen are locked in a battle for fourth, with the three separated by just 12 points.

The other interesting battle apart from the drivers' title is the battle for fourth place in the team championship between Force India and Williams. The Vijay Mallya-owned team are eight points ahead of Frank Williams' team and it looks like the battle will go down to the final race of the season.
