Celebrities put on their best looks at the 88th annual Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre on 28 February. The A-listers displayed some of the best outfits for the biggest night in Hollywood.

Jennifer Lawrence looked stunning in a sleeveless Dior gown, which featured a plunging neckline. The 25-year-old, who won a nomination for best actress for her work in the movie Joy, kept the look simple with Chopard jewellery.

Kate Winslet looked classy in a black Ralph Lauren gown. The 40-year-old actress completed the look with nominal make-up and waves hair-do.

Cate Blanchett turned heads in an Armani Privé mermaid gown which was covered in white feathers and hand-sewn Swarovski crystals. The 46-year-old actress, who was in line for the best actress award for her role in the movie Carol, finished the look with Tiffany and Co. jewels.

Rachel McAdams wore an emerald, satin August Getty gown, featuring thigh-high split. The 37-year-old actress, who won a best supporting actress nomination for her work in Spotlight, opted for sleek hairstyle and nominal jewellery.

Lady Gaga was a vision in white, in a Brandon Maxwell outfit. Gaga, who earned a nomination for best original song for her track Til It Happens to You, styled her blonde hair with retro waves.

Alicia Vikander was spotted in a yellow strapless Louis Vuitton gown. The 27-year-old actress, who was in line for the best supporting actress award for her work in The Danish Girl, matched the outfit with drop earrings.

Priyanka Chopra turned heads in a figure-hugging Zuhair Murad dress. The Quantico star, who is also a presenter at the event, completed the look with matching clutch.

Sofia Vergara wore a blue Marchesa gown with a sweetheart neckline. The 43-year-old Modern Family star finished the look with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Brie Larson looked gorgeous in a blue Gucci dress. The 26-year-old actress, who won a best actress nomination for her work in Room, opted for nominal make-up and matching accessories.
