Pretty Little Liars Season 5 may finally reveal the true identity of 'A' before the liars -- Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hanna. And now that Alison is back from the dead, things will be different and complicated with the liars who are suffering due to 'A'.

Meanwhile, we know Ezra is alive after getting fatally shot during the season 4 finale, probably because he knows something about the identity of 'A'.

Even after promising to reveal the dreaded killer of Rosewood earlier, showrunner Marlene King chose to keep the PLL fans waiting till the season 5.

However, the latest promo released by ABC shows that Ali is being stalked by the black-hooded 'A' on the dark streets of New York.

In the trailer of the premier episode Escape From New York, the liars ask Ali to reveal it all since the night she went missing.

"No more secrets, Ali," Hanna tells Alison. "Look, Ali, either you trust us or you don't," Spencer shouts at her. But will Ali survive the wrath of the hooded 'A' and her BFF's suspicion?

Meanwhile, there is a section of fans who believe that Alison's twin sister may be the real 'A.'

Entertainment website Zap2it suspects that the PLL poster released by ABC has a lot to do with the plot of the the mystery-thriller. The poster features the mask of the five liars including Ali, whose mask has cracks.

The website suspects that with season 5, the twin theory will bring a new twist to the popular show and Ali's mask may soon break to reveal the face of her identical twin Courtney.

That may be the reason why Ali's mother Jessica DiLaurentis was hiding her death.

The twin theory is also available in the Pretty Little Liar book.

The Season 5 of the Pretty Little Liars will premiere on ABC Family on 10 June at 8pm.
