Bollywood star Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are reportedly going to announce that they are romantically involved with each other.

The glamorous Hong Kong-born actress who is a British national and Kapoor have tried to keep their relationship under wraps but photographs of the two of them at a party on the island of Ibiza may have given them away.

"Too much has been said about Ranbir and Katrina. Though they haven't spoken a word about it, the two have always maintained that they are special to each other. They also don't shy away from being spotted in public anymore as their families are aware of the relationship," a source told Absolute India.

"They did go through a rough phase in between but then which couple doesn't fight? They sorted out their differences and now things are fine. It was said that Ranbir reportedly had commitment issues but all that seems to be a thing of the past considering Katrina has been dropping in at his bungalow very often," the insider continued.

Kaif and Kapoor who have starred together in the films Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009; The Unique Story of a Strange Love) and Rajneeti (2010; a political thriller) will officially declare their current dating status by throwing a lavish party involving family, friends and media.

"Both of them are quite fed up of the speculations around their personal life so they are in the process of organising a party, where they will announce their relationship status and put an end to all speculations. The party will happen very soon. They plan to invite their close friends from the industry and the press to share this news," the source said.

Kaif was previously linked to Salman Khan. Although that relationship ended rather dramatically, the actress remains close to the 48-year-old veteran.

Meanwhile, Kapoor dated his Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani co-star Deepika Padukone from 2007 to 2009.
