The trailer has been released for an upcoming documentary following the lives of three men battling for the world record in stone-skipping in the US. Skip Stones for Fudge follows Russ "Rock Bottom" Byars, Kurt "Mountain Man" Steiner and Maxwell "Top Gun" Steiner as they try to break the record for the most skips.

Film-maker Highway Goat Productions said it tracked down the world record holder, Kurt Steiner, on Facebook before discovering the story of fierce competition. The film-makers raised $16,000 (£10,927) on a crowdfunding website for the project. The film is due for release at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in Missoula, Montana on 20 February.

Director, producer and editor of the project was Ryan Seitz. Director of photography, assistant director and producer was Daniel Skaggs. Executive producer, assistant director and editor was Alex Downey and editor, producer and music producer was Mather McKallor.
