Real Madrid will look to continue their solid run of form against Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on 8 November.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 7.30pm GMT. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 3 HD.

Overview

Eleventh-placed Sevilla have won just one of their last five matches in all competitions and suffered a 3-1 reverse at home to Manchester City in the Champions League in midweek. The defeat brought to an end a three-match winning run, including a famous 2-1 victory over Barcelona, at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for the hosts.

Sevilla striker Kevin Gameiro is doubtful after he sat out the City match with a hamstring problem. Goalkeeper Beto, Nicolas Pareja (both knee) and Daniel Carrico (hamstring) are all sidelined.

La Liga leaders Real Madrid are unbeaten across all competitions this season and edged to a 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in midweek. The capital side have gotten the better of Sevilla in five of their last six head-to-head encounters.

Gareth Bale has recovered from a calf problem and is likely to feature at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, but Karim Benzema could miss out after he was arrested in connection with a blackmail case in France earlier this week. Defender Marcelo and goalkeeper Keylor Navas are also doubtful starters.

What managers say

Unai Emery: "Manchester City were great. We played well in Manchester but they came here having learned their lessons. I can't complain about my players. We went for the victory from the start, we had chances to equalise but then they scored the third goal. We still have a chance to get second place in the group. It's between us and Juventus."

Rafael Benitez: "I'm very happy because we have qualified. We were up against one of the top teams, not just any old team. This result makes the draw we earned in Paris an even better result. There are always things you can improve, but the fact we've qualified is very positive."
