Starbucks' new Christmas Tree Frappuccino is the latest Internet sensation: Is it worth the hype?
Many users have taken to social media to share their views on the Starbucks' newest frozen drink.
Starbucks' newest frozen drink is sure to get you all excited for Christmas. The company has just released their latest creation, the Christmas Tree Frappuccino, and it has already become an internet sensation.
The Christmas Tree Frappuccino is available for a limited time, starting from 7 December to 11 December in select stores. If you are wondering what is in the coffee, Starbucks is here to guide you.
The company's website has described the drink as, "Delicious mocha and peppermint are blended with milk and ice, topped with a festive tree made of matcha infused whipped cream, a caramel drizzle and candied cranberries finished off with a strawberry tree 'topper.'"
Many users have taken to Twitter and Instagram to share their views on the Starbucks' newest frozen drink. An enthusiastic coffee lover tweeted, "OH MEH GOD I JUST SAW THE STARBUCKS CHRISTMAS TREE FRAPPUCCINO and the very sight of it gave me a medical event. I want one so badly."
A user even has regretted not opting for the biggest size of the festive drink. "The Christmas Tree Frappuccino from @Starbucks is actually really good I regret not getting a tall," noted a user, while another quipped, "What the f**k is a Christmas tree Frappuccino and why do I want one soo bad right now?"
A fan of the drink has shared a note of thanks to the coffee company and wrote, "I would like to thank Starbucks for bringing the Christmas tree frappuccino into my life."
While most people seem to be fans of the drink, some coffee lovers were not so impressed with the hype or the flavours.
A user has jotted down four points against the Christmas Tree Frappuccino and wrote on Twitter saying, "Reasons I hate the new #Starbucks Christmas tree frappuccino- 1- It's not green? 2- "Shape of a Christmas tree," You mean the normal whip cream swirl on top? 3- I will forever be against mint and chocolate being together 4- They didn't use starfruit as their tree topper??!"
Another user has a valid point against the beverage's promotional photos. "My @Starbucks Christmas tree Frappuccino doesn't look nearly as pretty as the one in the picture."
Earlier this year, the coffee chain nearly broke the internet by introducing the Unicorn Frappuccino, a beverage that changes colours from purple to pink with the stir of a straw. It was made with ice, milk, pink powder, sour blue powder, crème Frappuccino syrup, mango syrup, and blue drizzle.
