It is one of the most enduring images from the 20<sup>th century, a lone unidentified protestor facing down a tank in China's Tiananmen Square on 4th June 1989. Now 25 years on from the pro-democracy protests in Beijing, and the subsequent massacre by the Chinese military, Beijing still does not acknowledge the event with any kind of memorial.
