The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: Charred Corpses at Terminus to Unfold Backstory of Cannibals?
Some interesting spoilers of The Walking Dead Season 5 are coming up from the show creator Robert Kirkman.
The show creator promises that the upcoming season of AMC's zombie thriller will be 'different and crazier' than the previous seasons.
Kirkman, who is also the creator of the graphic comics with the same name, has teased the Season 5 will start with an 'up cycle'.
Does this hints at a backstory of the Terminus in the offing? "There is a very deep, dark and storied history to Terminus, and how these people came to be that will be revealed in Season 5," Robert explains to The Hollywood Reporter.
"We are doing new and different and crazy and exciting things and now I think the atmosphere is that we can't wait until we can start sharing things with people and start showing things to people because we're really excited about what we're doing here. We think we're making another magical season," Kirkman told Entertainment Weekly.
"I think this show works best with a cycle or ramping up and ramping down, and lulling people into a sense of security and speeding things up and keeping them on guard," he said.
"I will say that we definitely start this season in an up cycle, whereas last season we definitely started the season in a down cycle. So we're certainly changing things up in that respect and we're gonna kind of hit the ground running this season," he added.
Meanwhile, the fan page titled The Spoiling Dead has spilled some juicy spoilers straight from the sets strengthening the Terminus backstory claims.
The Spoiling Dead shared some important information from the shooting sets on their Facebook page and reported a big explosion occurred at the Terminus causing torturous screams and charred bodies scattering all over.
The fan page wrote: "We posted a pic the other day of the tanks picture here. They were making them look old a rusted. Kim has provided us with a video of the aftermath. The explosions heard were from these tanks. The burnt spots are charred body parts."
The pictures posted by the group points at two theories: It may happen that Rick and his friends are fighting vigorously with the Termites (cannibals) or as Wetpaint suspects, the season 5 of the zombie horror drama is going to run a parallel back story of the Terminus.
As per Kirkman's graphic novel, the terminus belongs to the cannibals but it is still not clear why it turned into a dreaded place and how Rick and Co will escape the fatal cage.
