Watch professional paraglider Horacio Llorens soar beneath the Northern Lights
One of the world's top acrobatic paragliders, Horacio Llorens, recently fulfilled his dream of flying under the Northern Lights skies in Norway. In a video from Red Bull's media department Llorens, 33, can be see preparing his equipment at dusk in Tromso, then soaring beneath the Aurora Borealis as his friends cheer him on.
The footage was collected between 5-15 January and Red Bull described it as a successful but challenging attempt. Lloren had to overcome snowstorms, low visibility, and frozen wires, in temperatures far below freezing. Spaniard Llorens is a Guinness World Record holder for the most continuous loops while paragliding: 568 spins.
