Where to Watch Live
Kick-off is set for 3pm BST. Highlights of the game will be available on BBC Match of the Day from 10:30pm BST on BBC One.
Overview
Watford come into the game on the back of an encouraging 1-1 draw with Southampton and will be looking to build on their progress from last season. The Hornets finished the season in 12th spot but manager Quique Sanchez Flores was sacked following a run of games post Christmas where they won only four from a cumulative 24.
Watford have been very active in the transfer market with moves for Isaac Success, Christian Kabasele, Brice Dja Djedje and Jerome Sinclair who have made their way to the Vicarage thus far. They are in the market for some creativity up front and are close to completing a deal for Roberto Pereyra from Juventus.
Meanwhile, Chelsea come into the game on the back of a 2-1 win over West Ham at Stamford Bridge, with Diego Costa scoring a last minute winner to take the Blues over the line. New manager Antonio Conte has made two signings thus far in the window and will be looking to add more ammunition to the squad as they look to challenge for the title.
Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and Everton's Romelu Lukaku are two players who are on the list of possible targets but are yet to reach an agreement over a transfer. Conte will be looking to see more from his midfield, especially new signing N'Golo Kante, who has had a brilliant season with Leicester City and Eden hazard, who has had a below par season.
What Managers Say
Walter Mazzarri: "[on new signings] Yes. From what I heard, yes. But I know that players, if there are other talks before the game, they can be distracted so now I just want to concentrate on the game. I don't like to talk about transfers the day before a game, but now I want to concentrate on the game for (Saturday) and then from Monday I will speak about those players. I say this because this afternoon after the training, the squad will be available for (Saturday) and I don't want the players to be distracted from other things."
Antonio Conte: "In this moment, we have to send the right message. We need the right message for the confidence, for the work from the training sessions. For this reason, it's important to face this game with the right intensity and the right concentration, very focused. I am looking forward to tomorrow."
