Kick-off is set for 3:30pm GMT. Live coverage is on ITV 1 and ITV 1 HD. Radio commentary is on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Overview

The Blues beat Premier League champions Manchester United, 3-1 at Stamford Bridge in their last league fixture. Samuel Eto'o's hat-trick ensured three points for the home side while Javier Hernandez grabbed a consolation goal for the visitors.

Jose Mourinho's side eased past Derby County 2-0 in the third round of the FA Cup at the Pride Park, with John Obi Mikel and Oscar scoring after half-time.

The west London club have won this competition four times since 2007, and the Portuguese tactician will be keen to lift the trophy once again this season.

On the league front, the Blues are still in the race for the title, sitting third after 22 matches with 49 points, two behind leaders Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Stoke's away performances this season have been miserable, without a single win in the league since August.

The Potters endured another nightmare away day in their previous league game against Crystal Palace as Jason Puncheon's goal in the second half ensured the visitors left Selhurst Park empty-handed. Mark Hughes's side have conceded 15 goals and are without a win in their last five league games.

In the FA Cup third round, Stoke beat Leicester City at the Britannia Stadium with goals from Kenwyne Jones and Charlie Adam. David Nugent's reply in the 77th minute was not enough for the Foxes to force the home side to a replay.

Stoke are currently 14th in the league table with 22 points from 22 matches, four points above the relegation zone.

What the Managers Say

Jose Mourinho: "We lost against them and it wasn't a long time ago. They are a difficult team; very physical, very direct, strong at set pieces and they will come to compete. I expect a difficult match, I will play with a strong team and not make big changes because we want to go as far as possible in the competition."

Mark Hughes: "I will go into Sunday's game with the intention of being strong and seeing where that takes us. We have got to be mindful about the big game on Wednesday, but that said there is sufficient time for players to recover in time for that match too. It's the FA Cup at the end of the day and we are all desperate to progress and remain in the competition for as long as possible."
