Adele's 25 to top Official Charts after Glastonbury 2016 as Drake's One Dance reign is set to end

Adele looks set to hit the top of the UK charts again with her third album 25. The record is enjoying a resurgence following the Hello singer's Glastonbury 2016 headline on 25 June. However, there may be bad news for Canadian rapper Drake, whose stint atop the singles chart is set to end.
Since gracing Worthy Farm's Pyramid Stage, Adele, 28, has seen her latest album jump 13 places to the top spot of the midweek album charts, leaving Radiohead's current number one A Moon Shaped Pool in the dust. According to the Official Charts, 25 has experienced a boost of 176% on the previous week. The increased popularity is also due, in part, to its introduction to streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music, following a refusal to do on its release.
Fans have clearly found themselves consumed with nostalgia since the British singer's Glasto performance as her first two albums have also enjoyed a boost. 19, initially released in 2008, is currently at number 13 in the chart update meaning it could officially re-enter the top 40 for the first time in six months. The musician's second offering 21 has also bolted up a staggering 58 places to number nine.
Adele is not the only artist reaping the benefits of Glastonbury. Following Coldplay's tribute to Viola Beach, Spotify noted more than a 6,000 percent increase in streams for the late band. All four members of the band, Jack Dakin, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Kris Leonard, and their manager Craig Tarry, were killed in a car accident in Sweden in February 2016. Coldplay, fronted by Chris Martin, covered the band's song Boys That Sing in tribute to the late musicians during their headline set at Glasto,
Over on the UK singles chart, Drake's mammoth 11-week reign with One Dance could finally come to an end. In the chart update, the OVO rapper has been overtaken by Kungs and Cookin' On 3 Burners' collaboration This Girl, which is 3,500 combined sales ahead of One Dance. After Drake locked in his 11th week at number one, a frustrated Kungs joked on Twitter: "Come on Drake... Seriously ?"
Drake is still reigning supreme on the US Billboard 200 chart with his fourth album Views, which is enjoying its eighth week at number one. It is now only one of four hip-hop albums to spend at least eight weeks on top of the chart following Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP, Vanilla Ice's To The Extreme and MC Hammer's Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em.
