'America's Got Talent' finale: Cher rocks purple jumpsuit and performs 'Waterloo'
The Grammy winner is all set to start the next leg of her "Here we go again" tour, the next concert for which is scheduled for November 19, in Portland.
Music icon Cher has become the talk of the town after a special performance during the finale of season 14 of "America's Got Talent". She rocked the stage with her cover of ABBA 1974 hit song "Waterloo" from her album "Dancing Queen".
The 73-year-old looked fierce in a purple jumpsuit and gorgeous silver embellishments. She styled her platinum blonde hair in big waves, and fans were amazed by her complete look.
"I think @cher needs to share her ageing secret with us because she doesn't look anywhere near her age," a fan wrote on Twitter.
"Thank you for AGT-getting Cher and you short clip on coming to America. we're glad you came and brought Idol& Agt!!!," another wrote.
Blind and autistic singer Kodi Lee was crowned the season 14 champion. Season 15 of "America's Got Talent" is likely to air in May 2020.
Earlier this year, Cher stunned everyone with her surprise performance at the Met Gala. She proved her efficiency even at this age by performing "Waterloo" and her personal classics "Believe", "Consider" and "If I Could Turn Back Time."
Before the performance, the AGT featured a package of Cher and judge Simon Cowell chatting about random subjects including long beards, planking, cell phones, video games and chocolate, reports Pop Culture.
Cher called planking '"tough" and said she is great at it, having held a plank for five minutes straight. Cowell meanwhile joked that he would rather send his friends messages via carrier pigeon instead of a cell phone.
The series finale featured performances from Billy Ray Cyrus, Macklemore, Leona Lewis, Latin singer Ozuna, DJ Kygo and others. Judge Julianne Hough also gave a stellar performance of her new single, "Transform" and danced alongside V. Unbeatable.
Meanwhile, Cher who is a vocal critic of US President Donald Trump, today slammed him in a series of tweets.
