Amy Winehouse beats Jay-Z and Kanye West to stay No. 1 on UK Album Chart
The late Amy Winehousehas scored her third week at the top of the Official UK Album Chartwith her hit 2006 LP, "Back to Black."
Winehouse continues to dominate the album countdown despite a strong challenge from Jay Z and Kanye West's joint LP, "Watch the Throne," which entered the chart at No.3.
Fellow Brit Adele's record breaking album "21" clung onto second place, while Winehouse's 2003 debut record "Frank" and Adele's "19" completed the top five.
The singer's albums have seen a huge increase in sales since her death on July 23.
"Back to Black" continues to lead albums as it becomes the 21st century's biggest seller, and Winehouse's 2003 debut album "Frank" is fourth in the chart.
Amy Winehouse's cause of death has been listed as "unexplained," pending toxicology results due in two weeks. Although many speculate that a well-documented battle with drugs and alcohol were contributing factors in the singer's death.
