Overview
World number two Andy Murray has continued his good form in the ongoing 2016 US Open, coming into this clash on the back of a 6-4, 6-1, 6-4 victory over Marcel Granollers in the second round on 1st September.
Despite the win, the Scot had a poor game in terms of his serve, with a first-serve percentage of just 43, which is a bit of a concern. Murray revealed that the noise at the stadium (he was playing under the closed roof at the Arthur Ashe for the very first time) was a a distraction which made it difficult for him to concentrate.
If Murray puts in a disciplined performance, there is no reason why he cannot win come 3 September.

The 34-year-old, who has disappointed throughout his career, has done well at the US Open so far, beating Carlos Berlocq 6-4, 6-2, 6-1 in the first round and shocking 30th seed Gilles Simon 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, 6-7, 7-6 in the second round.
Lorenzi has played Murray once in the past with disastrous results and is not expected to cause an upset in the fourth round on Saturday.
