Transfer Data from Old iPhone to iPhone 5s/iPhone 5c [TUTORIAL]
Announced on 10 September, Apple's latest flagship, iPhone 5s and the budget smartphone, iPhone 5c, is now available in the UK. Both the iPhones run on the new mobile operating system iOS 7, which integrates hundreds of new features such as new user interface, Control Center, Notification Center, improved multitasking, Airdrop, enhanced photos, Safari, Siri and iTunes Radio.
Those who already have the new iPhone or are planning to buy a new one and are currently looking for a guide to transfer data from old iPhone to new iPhone 5s/iPhone 5c, may follow our step-by-step tutorial. There are two methods to data transfer: one using iTunes and the other via iCloud. This will transfer the saved message, email accounts, photos, notes and other personal settings to the new iPhone.
However, before starting, users are advised to update the old iPhone to iOS 7 to avoid any compatibility issues while migrating old iPhone data on iOS 6.x.x or lower to iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c running on iOS 7. Users can also transfer password to the new iPhone using iTunes backup only.
