Sneak Peek: Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

Christopher Nolan and the team behind his third and final Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises," have secretly revealed another first look at a new star, Anne Hathaway as Selena Kyle, the alter-ego of the famous Catwoman.

The eagerly anticipated movie stars Christian Bale as Batman and Tom Hardy as Bane, as well as other new faces in the Batman cast, including Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levit.

Found in the official website the image sees Hathaway instantly recognisable as Catwoman, wearing the famous tight black cat suit, yet looks much different than past Catwoman actresses Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry, with the glasses, lack of any ears or mask and gigantic power wheels motorbike.

Keeping with the grimmer tone the "Dark Knight" took with Batman, the costume's bright colors are toned down and look a little more menacing said Today.

The shoot, which is one of the most anticipated productions in recent memory, is currently underway in Pittsburgh. The makers were welcomed to the city with a projected Bat Symbol reports NME.

"The Dark Knight Rises"is due for release in the UK on July 20, 2012.
