A bear broke into a house in Estes Park in Colorado at night and escaped police by smashing a hole in the wall. The break-in occurred on Friday near Fall River Road in the Larimer Country Town, Colorado. Estes Park police said in a post on Facebook on Saturday saying, "Upon officer's arrival, said bear forcibly breached a hole in the wall like the 'Kool-Aid Man' and made its escape." The Kool-Aid mascot is known for breaking through walls in the commercials.

They also mentioned in the note to lock the doors and windows properly before going to bed at night. The post said, "For your safety, and the lives of these bears, PLEASE close and lock ALL windows and doors to your house and vehicles. Make it a routine to check everything is closed up before you go to bed or leave the house to do errands."

"The bear seemed to have been attracted to the scent of refuse," said Estes Park police in the post.

They also mentioned reporting any human-bear conflicts to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife division.

According to USA Today, Colorado Parks and Wildlife division reported that bears had entered 35 vehicles and nine houses in Estes Park in 10 days before August 3.
