Best Buy schedules pre-Black Friday sale for 7 November

While Black Friday is still a few weeks away, Best Buy has scheduled a pre-Black Friday sale for 7 November. The US retail giant will host the sale from 1pm to 5pm EST at select stores.

The first 100 customers, who would participate in the pre-Black Friday sale, would receive a free "tech gift" at each store location, Best Buy has said. In addition, five gift cards worth $1,000 (£658, €920) each will be offered at all participating Best Buy stores.

The retailer said that it "will offer Black Friday-like deals on this year's hottest gifts" during the store-only sale. These include deals like $70 discount on purchase of an Apple TV and any iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus variant with a two-year contract and an iPad Air 2 64GB variant for $525. Also, there is $100 Best Buy gift card with every purchase of any MacBook Air model and a copy of Destiny: The Taken King for free with every Sony PlayStation 4 console.

Some discounts are also applicable on devices like Surface Pro 3, Fitbit activity trackers, Beats by Dr Dre Pill 2.0 Bluetooth Speaker and Netgear Nighthawk DST router and adapter. Besides, you can get free Best Buy gift cards on purchase of Xbox One, Sony A500 and A5100 mirrorless cameras and GoPro Hero4 Session and Hero+ LCD.
