New parents Beyoncé and Jay Z have reportedly traded in their New York apartment for a luxurious mansion in the suburbs following the birth of their daughter Blue Ivy.

The Carters are allegedly in the process of finishing off the complete renovation of their home in Scarsdale, a quiet suburb outside New York City.

Following the 'emotional' birth of their first child at the Lennox Hill Hospital, the hip-hop super couple have already moved into their 15,000 square feet modern colonial property to raise their daughter.

Their new home is said to a state of the art security system, a tennis court, a full basketball court as well as a guest house. Perfect for making some unforgettable family memories.

According to the MediaTakeOut website, a source close to the couple says that Beyoncé and Jay Z brought the mansion three years ago and have splashed out a staggering $2million on renovations.
