Beyonce & Jay Z Skip Kim Kardashian - Kanye West Wedding: Couple 'Working on Their Marriage'

Jay Z and Beyonce did not attend Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding in Florence, Italy on 24 May.

According to a Hollywood Life report, the couple decided to skip the lavish bash as Kim's best friend designer Rachel Roy was to be present.

Earlier this month, during the Met Gala afterparty at New York City's Standard Hotel, Jay Z's closeness with Roy, provoked his sister-in-law, Solange Knowles, to fly into a rage. This apparently led Solange physically attacking Jay Z in an elevator at the hotel.

"They weren't sure about all of the media attention and it possibly being filmed for the show [KUWTK], but after the fight with Rachel at the Met, they decided to lay low," a source told the publication. "Bey and Jay are working on their marriage."

According to Us Weekly, the two headed to the Hamptons during the Memorial Day Weekend holiday.

"They wouldn't mean it as a diss, they just don't want to go and would rather stay home with Blue Ivy, prepare for their tour and just relax. A wedding like this would be a complete process that they really aren't interested in getting involved in," a source close to the couple told Hollywood Life.

The Halo singer took to her instagram account to wish the newlyweds.

"Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family," Beyonce captioned the image.

Rob Kardashian Skipped Wedding after Fight with Kim

Rob Kardashian skipped sister's wedding to Kanye West after she reportedly commented about his weight gain.

A source told X17 online: "Rob said he was sickened by Kim and Kanye's display of wealth and clothes and beauty and called it 'superficial bullsh*t' but Kim was pissed that Rob hadn't made an effort to drop any weight over the past few months. Rob basically thinks Kim cares about him only for his appearance and he said he'd 'make life easier' for her and just leave."

"Rob booked his flight for Saturday morning and skipped the lunch at Valentino's. He just doesn't seem to feel comfortable or happy around his family at all. They're all wrapped up in the same pretty world and he just doesn't fit in," the insider added.
