Amazon's internet of things-friendly (IoT) Echo range is one of tech's potential Christmas favourites in 2016. A neat addition to smart homes, Amazon's personal assistant AI, Alexa, has been turning heads with its flashy TV adverts and the promise of music, calendar reminders, train times and even takeaways with just a few simple voice commands.
