And so, as the sun sets on another Black Friday we are drawing this live blog to a close. Of course, most sales will be ploughing right on through the weekend, Cyber Monday and probably all the way to Christmas. There is no real end to Black Friday, and for 2016 a clearly defined start was missing-in-action too.

Although it might not be your first stop this Black Friday, eBay has a surprising number of competitive deals and discounts to take advantage of. Where eBay does well is in refurbished gadgets, such as GoPro action cameras.

How's this for a good GoPro deal? Amazon is selling the pint-sized Hero Session camera with an official GoPro grip mount and a 16GB SanDisk microSD card with SD adapter for £149. That's a saving of £51.97.

John Lewis, which actually ended its first Christmas sale on the eve of Black Friday, has finally shown its hand and revealed a wide range of tech deals and discounts.

Sticking with the Apple theme, the retailer is knocking £100 off the brand-new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, taking the entry-level price of the 15in model down to £2,249.
