Overview
Djokovic made it to the semi-finals of the BNP Paribas Open after registering a victory over Julien Benneteau in the last eight of the competition on Friday. The World No 2 did not face trouble in his quarter-final tie as he defeated the French star in straight sets 6-1, 6-3.
The Serbian has won the competition twice in his career, in 2008 and 2011. Djokovic will be looking to win the 2014 BNP Paribas Open and a victory on Saturday will bring him one step closer to his third title at Indian Wells.
Meanwhile, Isner made it to the last four of the BNP Paribas Open by defeating Ernests Gulbis in the quarter-final. The American professional had to play all three sets to defeat the Latvian in the earlier round.
Isner won the first set on the tie breaker, but lost the second set. However, he managed to win the final set to make it to the semi-finals at Indian Wells, 7-6, 3-6, 6-3.

Djokovic has a 4-2 lead over Isner in all meetings so far. The pair has never met at a Grand Slam event. Djokovic holds a 3-2 lead over Isner in the last five meetings between the pair.
