Boy Trapped in Washing Machine Rescued by Fire Fighters
A boy who was trapped in a household washing machine in China's eastern Shandong province was successfully rescued by local firefighters, state media reported on Wednesday (February 20).
Fire-fighters used half an hour to safely free the two-year-old boy after his mother failed try to rescue her son from the washing machine several times,
CCTV carried the footage showing the fire-fighters pulling the boy out from the machine, still trapped inside the plastic bucket.
They were then able to cut through the basket's plastic side to a point where they could break it apart with their hands.
Just one day earlier, CCTV reported that a three-year-old girl was rescued safely by local fire-fighters on Sunday from a washing machine (February 17) in the same province of Shandong.
