Brad Pitt 'desperate' to finalise custody arrangement with Angelina Jolie over children
The Maleficent actress filed for divorce from Pitt on 19 September citing irreconcilable difference.
After his emotional reunion with his children, Brad Pitt is reportedly "desperate" to finalise a custody agreement with estranged wife Angelina Jolie. The Hollywood actor was allowed to meet some of his children on 8 October in the presence of DCFS (Department of Children Family Services) personnel.
The 52-year-old Allied actor reportedly feels like his 'life is empty' without his six children Maddox (15), Zahara (11), Pax (12), Shiloh (10), and twins Knox and Vivienne (8) and wants to settle the custody battle soon.
"He feels like his life is completely empty without the kids. The house feels big and empty and far too quiet. Brad is still really torn up about everything. He is desperate to finalize a custody arrangement with Angie but there is no way he's going to agree on anything but equal custody," a source told Hollywood Life.
After spending 10 years as partners and two more years as husband and wife, the Maleficent actress filed divorce from Pitt on 19 September citing irreconcilable difference. She has requested for sole physical custody of their six children with visitation rights Pitt. However, the 52-year-old actor wants shared custody of his children and is ready to fight back.
"Brad loves his children more than anything in this world, and they matter more than anything else to him. He will do whatever it takes to be with them, now and always," the People quoted a source close to the actor.
The World War Z actor was under investigation by the DCPS for an altercation with his 15-year-old son Maddox on a private jet from France to Los Angeles. A few weeks back, the former power couple reached a temporary custody agreement and according to that Pitt reportedly agreed to undergo drug and alcohol tests before meeting his children and his first meeting will be monitored by a therapist.
