Sandiford,is paraded wearing orange prison garb to a news conference. Everywhere cameras flash. She attempts to hide her face before finally covering it sitting down. The drugs are laid out in front of her. Then weighed and tested for authenticity.
Indonesia have vowed to crack down on illegal drugs smuggling in Bali, which they have said has become a hub for international narcotics distribution. The country has a maximum penalty of 12 years in jail for drugs possession, and smugglers can face the death sentence.
