It was a night of disappointment on Tuesday when the Manchester City lost 1-2 to Napoli at the San Paolo Stadium in Naples.
Edison Cavani stunned visitors after he scored a goal at the seventeenth minute.
Manchester City fought with vengeance when they levelled the score after 32 minutes when Mario Balotelli stroked the goal.
It was during the 49th minute that Cavani scored another goal and regained the lead for Napoli yet again.
With the results, Manchester City's last 16 hopes into the knockout stages of Group A games have been rocked.
