Celebrity Exes Who Stayed Friends: Rihanna & Chris Brown, Kimora Lee & Russell Simmons, Chris Martin & Gwyneth Paltrow

Zoe Saldana recently revealed she has no interest keeping in touch with her ex-boyfriends.

The Latina beauty, who dated actor Bradley Cooper for two years, before finally settling down with husband Marco Perego, opened up in the August issue of Marie Claire: "I don't want to be the one going, 'I'm cool, because I'm friends with all my exes.' There's a reason why you're called an ex. I crossed you off my list."

In the celebrity world, however, Saladana appears to be a rarity as there are many A-Listers who have broken up and then famously remained good friends with their exes.

IBTimes UK takes a look at some of the stars who stayed friends with their old flames.

Rihanna and Chris Brown

Rihanna and Chris Brown went through a dramatic break-up after he was accused of assaulting the Diamonds singer back in 2009 . The Bajan beauty vowed to keep her distance from the Loyal crooner. But since then they have rekindled their romance several times with Brown ping-ponging between Ri Ri and new love interest Karrueche Tran. The pair are apparently just friends now.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore called time on their twelve-year marriage when they got divorced in 2000 but continued to co-parent their daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. They remained good friends and when Demi got married to Ashton Kutcher in 2005, Willis became pals with him too. In a magazine interview, Kutcher said: "We go scuba-diving, skiing, we hang out with the girls together, we watch movies, we talk about sport." While Demi and Ashton got divorced in 2011, Willis married model Emma Heming - whom Demi is on good terms with.

Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow

The couple announced their shock break-up earlier this year via a statement Paltrow posted to her website saying they were "consciously uncoupling". It turns out that uncoupling means remaining good friends as the pair have been spotted out together doing everything they used to do, from going out for walks, jogging, to having lunch together.

Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons

Rusell Simmons spotted Kimora Lee on a runway in 1992, soon after they embarked on a whirlwind romance and got married six years later. They built the Rocawear fashion label into a millon-dollar empire and had two daughters, Ming Lee Simmons and Aoki Lee Simmons. The couple divorced in 2009 but have since remained good friends. They still work together and have even taken family holidays with their new partners in tow.
