Fabregas Hints That Heart Remains At Arsenal
Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has said that scoring a goal against Tottenham in the North London derby is a moment he will never forget.
The Barcelona midfielder has taken part in a Q&A session on Barcelona's Facebook page and shown that he still has fantastic memories of his time in north London.
When a Facebook user asked Fabregas to name the football moment he can never forget, the playmaker overlooked his achievements with Barcelona and Spain and gave an interesting answer for Arsenal supporters: "Scoring against Spurs".
Fabregas scored a goal in the North London derby in season 2009-2010, when Arsenal beat Tottenham 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
Fabregas spend eight years at Arsenal, winning just one major honour at the Emirates - the 2005 FA Cup. However he became a key player for the club and was worshipped by Gunners supporters.
In total he made 203 appearances for the London club, scoring 57 goals, and was named Arsenal captain in 2008.
Arsenal sold him two seasons ago when his first club, Barcelona, agreed to pay around £31m to re-sign him. Since then, he has won a domestic League and also the Copa del Rey. However, his biggest achievements have been with the Spanish National Team - winning two European Championships and the 2010 World Cup.
Last summer, Manchester United made two offers to bring Fabregas back to the Premier League but the Catalan decided to stay in La Liga. This season he has scored five goals in 18 games for Barcelona.
