Chris Brown gives Rihanna his blessing to date Wolf Of Wall Street star Leonardo DiCaprio
It looks like Chris Brown may finally be over Rihanna. The r'n'b star has given his ex-girlfriend the green light to date another high-profile bachelor after denying reports he sent her a birthday text.
In a radio interview with Hot 97, the Loyal hitmaker claimed he would be happy if actor and film producer Leonardo Dicaprio was her new man and would even congratulate her with a high-five.
"Ain't nowhere else you could've went though," he said when quizzed about Rihanna's rumoured new beau. "High five. You had to go up, and that's the upper, upper echelon.
"In that situation, I just tip my hat. I'm not a hater. I'm not envious. I don't feel jealous... I'm like, do your thing. I can't have it all, brotha. I can't have it all."
Brown and Rihanna dated on and off for almost five years. In 2009, he famously assaulted her after a pre-Grammy bash. He has dated Karrueche Tran — whom he referred to as "K" in the interview — off and on for more than three years.
RiRi and DiCaprio first sent tongues wagging in January after they were spotting cosying up together.
Days later, the Diamonds singer appeared to drop hints that they were more than friends during an interview with Elle, when she revealed her words to live by.
"'Avoid obviousness'.That is a quote by Leonardo DiCaprio. That's what makes you create something, that's the excitement, that's the thrill," she said.
It was previously reported that Rihanna fell for the Wolf Of Wall Street star after he "blew her mind".
"He wasn't possessive and that blew her mind," the insider told Hollywood Life. "She thinks he's playing some type of mind game with her and she's intrigued by it. Rihanna loves a challenge, and he's unlike the dudes in her past, those were boys.
"This is Leo, he's something else. He's hitting all the right spots and I'm not talking between her legs. He's making her feel good and stimulating her on an entirely different level."
