Claudio Ranieri says Leicester City won't choke in Premier League title race
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is confident his squad won't choke and can handle the pressure of the Premier League title race.
"I am very calm," said Ranieri to reporters after the Foxes beat Southampton 1-0 at the King Power Stadium to go seven points clear at the top of the table. "We believe in what we are doing."
Leicester play their next match at struggling Sunderland on Sunday 10 April a full two and a half hours before Spurs host Manchester United, so could be 10 points clear of the north London club before they kick off against United. Ranieri went on to say that it has been a "magical season" and that next season will not be the same. "We try to do our best. We have to fight to win 1-0, so we need to be focused."
Leicester have to gather 12 points from their last six games to win the title but with matches against West Ham, Manchester United and Chelsea still to come, the Foxes have a long way to go. Spurs have games against United, Chelsea and then Southampton.
